Today, DKKV was represented by five members of staff from the office at the first day of the UN-SPIDER conference on Space-based Solutions for Disaster Management: Early Warnings for All in Bonn. The conference is organized by UN-SPIDER in cooperation with the Center for Remote Sensing of Land Surfaces (ZFL), the University of Bonn and our institutional member the German Aerospace Center (DLR). After the opening segment, the organizers as well as three private actors and their projects in the field of early warning systems were presented in a total of six exciting presentations.
