DESCRIPTION:The UNDRR GETI partners are conducting the upcoming launch of t
 he Committee of Experts on Public Administration (CEPA) Guidance Notes on 
 the Principle of Subsidiarity\, through a "Virtual Workshop on Subsidiarit
 y and Decentralisation for Sustainable Development" on 13th December 2023.
  The principle of subsidiarity suggests that to promote government that is
  responsive to the needs and aspirations of all people\, central authoriti
 es should perform only those tasks which cannot be performed effectively a
 t a more intermediate or local level.\n\nThe workshop is organised by the 
 United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA)\, Divis
 ion of Public Institutions and Digtial Governance (DPIDG)\, and its Projec
 t Office on Governance (UNPOG) and CEPA Secretariat.\n\nYou can find more
