DESCRIPTION:Join a discussion on how a multi-species mindset contributes to
  more inclusive\, realistic\, and resilient disaster preparedness. This we
 binar explores why disaster risk management needs to better account for an
 imals\, including pets\, livestock\, and wildlife. Together with experts f
 rom the DCNA network\, current approaches and challenges in regulatory fra
 meworks as well as operational processes will be discussed. Using examples
  such as heatwaves and floods\, the event addresses multi-species perspect
 ives\, ethical questions regarding animal loss and compensation\, and the 
 long-term consequences of excluding animals from disaster management strat
