DESCRIPTION:Discover how the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Ener
 gy is assisting cities in carrying out sustainable energy policies\, impro
 ving energy supply security\, and facilitating their contribution to clima
 te change mitigation and adaptation. The webinar will also present the Cit
 y Climate Finance Gap Fund\, a technical assistance program that aids citi
 es in early stage project preparation. The United Nations Office for Disas
 ter RIsk Reduction (UNDRR) is conducting a webinar on this pressing topic 
 on Tuesday 19th September\, 2023. City or local government officials respo
 nsible for climate action planning and implementation\, local resilience a
 nd disaster risk reduction and management\, urban development and planning
  are invited to take part in this training. The training is also suitable 
 for city representatives managing financing and exploring funding opportun
