DESCRIPTION:The University of Innsbruck\, Faculty of Geo- and Atmospheric S
 ciences is searching for a professor of Physical Geography to represent th
 e field of "Physical Geography" both in research and teaching. The person 
 to be appointed is expected to become actively involved in the university'
 s research area "Mountain Regions" and the research center "Global Change 
 – Regional Sustainability" as well as the relevant Innsbruck doctoral co
 lleges.\n\nA PhD degree in Austria or the equivalent abroad\, pertinent to
  the position in Physical Geography\, preferably geomorphology\, is requir
