DESCRIPTION:Showing how different forms of knowledge can contribute to redu
 cing disaster risk\, as well as how to conserve and manage cultural herita
 ge against natural hazards.\nBy living in hazard-prone areas and experienc
 ing natural hazards over time\, local and indigenous communities have deve
 loped a multi-layered knowledge of disasters in their localities. This cal
 l aims to strengthen the linkages between the traditional and indigenous k
 nowledge/cultural heritage and the disaster risk reduction communities.\n\
 nTraditional and Indigenous knowledge covers aspects related to practices 
 and skills to reduce community vulnerability and cope with hazards\, accum
 ulated over many years of living in a specific environment and passed down
  from one generation to another. Cultural heritage content highlights effo
 rts to protect cultural heritage from diasaster risk\, including tangible 
 heritage (monuments\, archaeological sites\, paintings\, manuscripts\, scu
 lptures) and intangible heritage (inherited traditions or living expressio
 ns).\n\nContent submitted must fall within the scope of diaster risk reduc
 tion:\n- Describe a DRR project or initivative based on research and pract
 ice that is replicable and/or scalable\;\n- Describe efforts to meet the S
 endai Framework targets\;\n- Help understand the nature of disaster risk\;
