DESCRIPTION:The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA
 ) is currently accepting applications for the first two science communicat
 ion internships. This internship runs for three months from February to Ap
 ril 2024. The internship covers the cost of travel to and from IIASA (near
  Vienna\, Austria) and the awardee´s home country at the beginning and en
 d of the internship\, as well as modest stipend to offset living expenses 
 during the period of the internship.\n\nScience communication interns will
  gain experiene in communicating complex systems sience for a general audi
 ence through a variety of platfroms including blogs\, the IIASA website\, 
 sociel media\, video\, and articles for our magazine\, Options. The succes
 sful candiate will work in the IIASA Communications and External Relations
  (CER) department\, assisting with a variety of tasks including web publis
 hing\, media relations\, event coverage\, multimedia. social media\, and o
