DESCRIPTION:The Research Center for Integrated Disaster Risk Management\, C
 IGIDEN\, is a multidisciplinary research center funded by the Chilean Agen
 cy for Research and Development\, ANID. CIGIDEN brings together research f
 rom various fields (e.g.\, Sociology\, Urban Planning\, Geography\, Psycho
 logy\, Engineering\, and Geoscience).\n\nThe position:\nTo support and enc
 ourgae our research work\, CIGIDEN is offering post-doctoral research posi
 tion associated with Work-Package #5 "Climate-induced risks in territories
  and the built environment". It focuses on the different challenges posed 
 by fires and heatwaves to communities\, institutions\, and the natural and
  built environment in central and central-south Chile. Topics include\, bu
 t are not limited to: Community-based early warning systems\, climate-resi
 lient territorial planning\, and disaster risk governance and planning.\nT
 he position is full time until the end of November 2025 and a maximum of 3
  years\, pending funding approval and an internal evaluation.\n\nPlease cl
