 risk reduction
DESCRIPTION:The Climate Service Centre Germany (GERICS)\, a scientific orga
 nisational unit of the Helmholtz Centre Hereon\, invites applications for 
 a PhD student position in the EU-funded project within the Horizon Europe 
 Innovation Action: The Human-Tech Nexus - Building a Safe Haven to cope wi
 th Climate Extremes (The HuT). The position is limited to 3 years and is i
 ntended to lead to a PhD. The location is Hamburg.\n\nIf you are intereste
 d in the open position\, you should have a Master's/Diploma degree in inte
 rdisciplinary disciplines such as such as economics\, sustainability\, env
 ironmental and energy management\, global development\, or open to any rel
 ated discipline. Previous knowledge and experience of cost-benefit\, cost-
 effectiveness and multi-criteria analysis\, or other valuation methodologi
 es for calculating the benefits of climate change adaptation are required.
 \n\nPart of your role will be to carry out cost-benefit\, cost-effectivene
 ss and multi-criteria analyses involving stakeholders. You will also prepa
 re data for analysis\, deliver data and coding according to the FAIR crite
