SUMMARY:Peer Learning: Climate Migration and Displacement - What are LRG's 
 doing?
DESCRIPTION:"United Cities and Local Governments" organises a peer learning
  exchange on Local and Regional Government (LRG) actions towards Climate M
 igration and Displacement. The event is part of the "Call to Local Action 
 on Migrants and Refugees" by the "Mayors Mechanism" (UCLG\, MMC\, IOM) in 
 partnership with UNHCR.\n\nDiscussions will be held focusing on territorie
 s affected by the impacts of climate change to reinforce urban and communi
 ty resilience to climate emergencies\, while fostering the socio-economic 
 inclusion of the affected groups.Kindly note that participation\n\nKindly 
 note that participation is limited and that preference will be given to te
 chnical staff from local and regional governments with concrete local prac
 tices or challenges to share. Registration is open until 28 June through t
 his form. Among the practices and expressions of interest received\, five 
 LRG representatives will be selected to join the Technical Visit in Paris 
 on June 27.
