SUMMARY:Konferenz: Civil Defence in an Age of Crises and Wars: Science and 
 Practice for Civilian Safety
DESCRIPTION:The Estonian Academy of Security Sciences\, in cooperation with
  the Ministry of the Interior\, invites civil defence professionals\, poli
 cymakers\, researchers\, and practitioners to Tallinn for two days of high
 -level discussions\, practical workshops\, and cross-sector collaboration.
 \n\nThe program will cover strategic developments\, lessons learned from t
 he war in Ukraine\, and the use of AI and data in crisis response\, as wel
 l as legal\, psychological\, and behavioural aspects of preparedness. High
 lights include keynote speeches by the Estonian Minister of the Interior\,
  Hans Das (DG ECHO)\, and Major General Indrek Sirel\, along with expert i
 nsights from Ukraine. Panel discussions and practical workshops will round
  off the event.\n\nParticipation is possible both on-site in Tallinn and o
