 lobal Goal on Adaptation (GGA)
DESCRIPTION:Interviews and contracting will be done on a first come\, first
  serve rolling basis\n\nInternational Institute for Sustainable Developmen
 tTimelines: (on a part-time basis)- First period: Start asap\, maximum by 
 end-April until end of May- Second period: start mid- to end-June\, until 
 end of October\n\nIISD is seeking a part-time researcher / policy analyst 
 to work with the Lead of MEL for Adaptation onone\, or a series of short b
 riefings\, that will address the themes of the remaining GlaSS workshops\,
  andultimately COP28. The first briefing will focus on providing an overvi
 ew of MEL concepts and principlesfor setting and assessing potential targe
 ts and goals under the GGA\, along with the key challenges andbenefits ass
 ociated with different methodological options.\n\n\nThe applicant should h
 ave a good understanding\, and ideally experience of implementing\, of MEL
  systems\, concepts andactivities. Also an understanding of\, and experien
 ce of researching global and national sustainable developmentpolicies and 
 issues\, and preferably on climate adaptation policies and issues should b
 e present. Furthermore IISD is looking for people with awareness\, and ide
 ally understanding\, of UNFCCC processes. Excellent document analysis and 
 writing skills\, with preferably additional experience in conducting key i
 nformant interviews with policy makers is required. \n\nFor more informati
