DESCRIPTION:The next Europe and Central Asia Regional Platform for Disaster
  Risk Reduction (EFDRR) will take place in Budva\, Montenegro\, from Novem
 ber 6 to 8\, 2024.\n\nThis platform will assess progress on the regional E
 FDRR Roadmap for Disaster Risk Reduction 2021-2030 and enhance the capacit
 ies of authorities and stakeholders to accelerate the implementation of th
 e Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030.\n\nHeld every th
 ree years\, the Regional Platform serves as a unique forum to address regi
 onal disaster risk challenges\, bringing together governments from 55 Memb
 er States\, civil society\, and the private sector. This collaborative env
 ironment fosters knowledge-sharing and facilitates tangible commitments to
  reducing disaster risk.\n\nIn 2024\, the Regional Platform will be hosted
  by the Government of Montenegro in collaboration with the United Nations 
 Office for Disaster Risk Reduction\, supported by UNDP\, the European Comm
