DESCRIPTION:The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research will host a w
 orkshop on disaster impact attribution on 11 February 2025\, building on a
  previous event from September 2023. The workshop\, organized by the Horiz
 on Europe project COMPASS\, will bring together researchers to discuss met
 hods and the role of prospective operational attribution systems. It will 
 feature presentations on climate and impact attribution\, updates on the C
 OMPASS project\, a lunch and poster session\, group discussions on data an
 d methods\, and a keynote on the Copernicus Climate Change Service's plans
  for operationalizing attribution\, followed by a panel discussion on comm
 unicating results.\n\nYou can register for the event here until 21 January
  2025.
