 Center for Interdisciplinary Disaster Research (CIDR) an der Rheinland-Pf
 älzischen Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) eine neue
  Online-Vortragsreihe. Die Talks bringen Perspektiven aus Forschung und Pr
 axis im Bereich Disaster Risk und Resilienz zusammen und richten sich an W
 issenschaftler:innen\, Praktiker:innen sowie alle weiteren Interessierten.
 \n\nDen Auftakt bildet am 28. Januar 2026 ein Vortrag von Rupesh Shrestha\
 , M. Sc. (Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust) zum Thema „Resilient Hous
 ing in Nepal“. Rupesh Shrestha ist Architekt und arbeitet direkt vor Ort
  an resilienten Bau- und Erhaltungsprojekten in Nepal. Zugleich ist er Kai
 serslautern durch sein International Climate Protection Fellowship der Ale
 xander von Humboldt-Stiftung (2021–2022) verbunden. (Registrierungslink)

 und Gloria Kutcher (Southampton Business School\, UK) mit dem Vortrag „H
 ow boundary blurring enables positive work relationships in confined work 
 settings“ (Registrierungslink) sowie am 27. Mai 2026 ein Vortrag von Pro
 f. Dr. Michael Grothe-Hammer (Norwegian University of Science and Technolo
 gy\, Trondheim\, Norwegen) mit dem Titel „Co-fabricating the permanent t
 o enable temporary organizing: Insights from an ethnography of emergency r

 lled CIDR Talks 2026. The talks bring together perspectives from research 
 and practice in the field of disaster risk and resilience and are aimed at
  scientists\, practitioners\, and anyone else who is interested.\n\nThe se
 ries will kick off on January 28\, 2026\, with a lecture by Rupesh Shresth
 a\, M.Sc. (Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust) on the topic of “Resilie
 nt Housing in Nepal.” Rupesh Shrestha is an architect and works directly
  on site on resilient construction and conservation projects in Nepal. He 
 also has ties to Kaiserslautern through his International Climate Protecti
 on Fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (2021–2022). (r
