DESCRIPTION:The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (U
 N DESA)\, through its Project Office on Governance (UNPOG) and the Divisio
 n for Public Institutions and Digital Government (DPIDG)\, in collaboratio
 n with the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR)\, offers the virt
 ual course "Risk-Informed Governance and Innovative Technology for Disaste
 r Risk Reduction (DRR) and Resilience".\n\nRunning over seven weeks from S
 eptember 14 to October 30\, 2026\, the program aims to build capacities am
 ong public officials and key stakeholders to leverage emerging technologie
 s and government innovations for enhanced disaster risk reduction and resi
 lience.\n\nThe curriculum combines flexible\, self-paced online modules wi
 th two live interactive sessions\, providing opportunities for real-time e
 ngagement with experts and international peers. Through case studies\, gro
 up discussions\, and practical exercises\, participants will explore pract
 ical applications for strengthening institutional resilience.\n\nParticipa
 nts who complete the course modules and attend both live sessions will rec
