SUMMARY:Biodiversity Applications Scientists | ESA
DESCRIPTION:ESRIN in Frascati\, Italy\, is looking for a Biodiversity Appli
 cations Scientist. Reporting to the Head of the Applications Section\, the
  candiate will be responsible for defining and implementing projects suppo
 rting the development of innovative\, biodiversity-related Earth observati
 on (EO) applications. Taks will cover a wide range of R&amp\;D projects fo
 r biodiversity science and applications in response to the UN Kunming-Mont
 real Global Biodiversity Framework whose targets were recently adopted at 
 the COP 15 to the Convention on Biological Diversity\, and the EU´s natur
 e restoration policies\, biodiversity strategy and zero pollution action p
 lan. Activities will also be colsely linked to the ecosystem services acco
 unting concepts of the UN System of Environmental-Economic Accounting.\n\n
