 ries supports the implementation of the Political Declaration of the Midte
 rm Review of the Sendai Framework\, which was adopted by countries at the 
 UN General Assembly in May.\n\nThe subject of this webinar will be the "ap
 plication of digitial technologies for heatwave resilience". Led by the Un
 ited Nations Development Programme (UNDP)\, in partnership with the United
  Nations Office of Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR)\, the webinar will focu
 s on how local governments can apply digital technology to better protect 
 their citizens and cities.\n\nFocus lies on existing and potential digital
 -technology-based initiatives that inform decision makers\, communities\, 
 and other stakeholders of appropriate actions and measures to reduce heatw
