SUMMARY:7th Cities on the Frontline session: Powering Resilience\, Reducing
  Disaster Risk
DESCRIPTION:The seventh Cities on the Frontline session of 2025 focuses on 
 energy resilience as a key pillar of disaster preparedness. It will introd
 uce the updated City Energy Resilience Framework (CERF) by R-Cities\, whic
 h helps cities connect infrastructure planning with disaster risk reductio
 n and climate action. Eskedar Gessesse will present the CERF tool\, Natali
 a Romero will provide a global perspective on resilient energy systems fro
 m the World Bank’s work\, and Bianca Perez will share examples from Quez
 on City\, including solar projects\, neighborhood programs\, and improved 
 community energy access. The session aims to show how forward-looking ener
