  for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) and the World Meteorological Organiza
 tion (WMO)\, the webinar responds to the UN Secretary-General’s call to 
 place heatwaves more prominently at the center of prevention\, governance\
 , and investment efforts.\nThe focus will be on new tools such as the “E
 xtreme Heat Risk Governance Framework and Toolkit\,” as well as practica
 l approaches for cities to better assess risks\, plan adaptation measures\
 , and monitor progress. In addition to expert presentations\, internationa
 l speakers will share insights from real-world experiences across differen
 t countries and sectors. The aim of the event is to highlight how integrat
 ed strategies for managing heat risks can be developed and effectively imp
